So let's take a closer look at them. Before go into the details about this kit, I will say if you do have the Adventurers trim on your RAV4, this might not be the best fit for you. And this is what our mud flap looks like when it's installed. You can see that it does hang down pretty far, giving us plenty of coverage to catch dirt and debris that would be flung off our tire, and that's just gonna help extend the life of our vehicles, paint and exterior, look here. 'Cause over time, if you don't have mud flaps here that dirt and debris can get flung up in this location here and you start to get scratches and abrasions, paint chips which could eventually lead to rust and corrosion, and further issues down the road. So by putting these on here now, especially if you live on like a dirty gravel road or you like to go off road in a lot, I would highly recommend them, to again prevent that dirt from getting on there. more

So these are gonna either replace your existing mudflaps or just get some mudflaps on your truck. Basically what these are for, is just to protect the truck from scratches and stuff like this. Once it starts to kinda chip away at the paint, whether it's right here or just along this door, eventually that'll start to rust away. Husky Liners Front and Rear Molded Mud Flaps Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, we're gonna be taking a look at the husky liner mudflaps. So this kit's gonna come with both the driver and passenger side for the back, but also the driver and passenger side for the front as well. What's great for this is especially if we have some of those wider tires, they're just knobby tires like we have here. we're gonna start throwing rocks up and stuff. It's gonna start chipping away at our paint and if we're hauling anything fun behind us, whether it's just mowers or even just a cool side-by-side, it's gonna start sparking rocks all the way back there and just going to chip up everything. So just taking a little bit of time to install these, just to protect your truck and anything else behind you, is definitely a no brainer for me. more

Putco Mud Skins Front or Rear Mud Flaps Installation - 2012 Ram 1500- Video

Today we're going to take a look at the Putco Mudskins Mudflaps.With the Hex Shield Series, as you can see here, they are extremely durable and this is a legit mudflap. It does come down a little bit on the lower side, but with this construction, it's going to really protect your vehicle and other vehicles on the road.These mud flaps do come in three finishes: a polished stainless, a brushed stainless, and in the black durable plastic that you can see here. One thing that's really nice about these is they do have a custom form fit on the inside, so whenever it comes to needing that extra wheel or tire clearance, if you we're to upgrade to get a little bit bigger size, you're going to have plenty of room on the inside of your wheel well.With these different holes throughout the mudflap on the mounting portion up here, that's going to give you a lot of options when it comes to getting that custom fit or look that you're wanting. Our customer here is going to be upgrading to a bigger wheel and tire package, so we went ahead and moved the mudflap a little bit further off the vehicle. more

And it's just going to protect your paint from any rocks or anything like that, you drive it in mud and then you drive on rock. It is going to pick up a lot of that stuff and start flinging it everywhere. We want to protect our paint.So if you have knobby tires and they pick up rocks on the way to wherever you're going, that is again, going to put your paint at risk. If you're looking to protect your truck, make it look good, this is the way to do it. Because if you ever go on any sort of muddy type roads, or you just have really, really knobby tires, they pick up a lot of rocks in either situation, that's going to spit them back here, and it's going to eventually kind of wear away at your paint. Yeah, we do have a little bit of protective coating here, but over time, rocks are going to do a lot of damage. So, if you really want to protect your truck, protect your paint, and also, make it look good, these mudflaps are going to do all of that.One thing I really like about the mudflaps is too, a lot of the times, the trim pieces and stuff fade over time. Now, these are available for the rear, as well as the front separately, or you can get the whole set so you can make sure you have that protection for your Colorado.Now, one of the things I like most about these mud flaps is how seamless they look on the back. They just have a really clean look, because they're going to follow that body line perfectly and they're not going to be a universal type of design where you just have a big flap and it doesn't really follow the body lines. You can see it follows perfectly and almost looks like it was from the factory like this.And the front mud flap's no different. Today on our 2018 Ford Expedition, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Weathertech No Drill Easy Install Mud Flaps for the rear, part number WT120088.Now, they're also available for the front using part number WT110088.So, here's what our mud flaps are gonna look like once we have them installed on our Expedition. These are gonna keep all that road debris from coming back and getting on the back bumper and protect our paint from any kind of rock, chips or scratches. And, if we're towing a trailer, it's gonna keep all that debris off the trailer, as well.Our mud flaps are gonna be digitally contoured, so they're gonna fit all the body lines perfectly. And the mud flaps are gonna be made out of a thermoplastic resin so they're gonna hold up for a long time.Our mud flaps are not gonna require any kind of drilling. They're gonna use all factory holes, as well as stainless steel hardware, so, we're not gonna have to worry about any rust or corrosion.So, now that we've seen what they look like, let's show you how to get 'em installed.To begin our installation, we're gonna come to the rear wheel, and along the edge of the wheel well here, we're gonna have four of these plastic fasteners. You'll want to use the included bit that comes in the kit, and you can use the socket or a bit driver to pull out the center, but I'm threading it, and when you're unthreading it, you want to be careful, you don't want to push too hard, because that center will go back in, but, you want to unthread that screw. more
